"Coneflowers are lovely perennial flowers that come in many different colors and are wonderful pollinators, but they are sometimes susceptible to disease. Aster yellows is one such disease. The funny thing is that early symptoms of the disease look rather interesting. Almost pretty. The petals have a light-green hue tinged in pink. This disease looks like something lovely in the beginning, but once a plant has the disease, there’s nothing that can be done but to pull up the entire plant to keep the disease from spreading to others. No treatment. No pruning."
