Favorite Things: Mother's Day

Favorite Things: Mother's Day

The "stuff" of motherhood may not be glamorous, but when a mom who loves Jesus is persevering in faith in the day-in-day-out tasks, it's worth celebrating. Not because the mom is amazing, but because the God she serves is making her more like Christ in the midst of her everyday tasks.

Each year, it’s my honor to create Christ-exalting, gospel-beholding art and products to celebrate the women of influence in our lives. I often refer to myself as an "unlikely mother" because I never expected to be where I am, gratefully raising six boys.

But, I believe God grows and shapes us in the most ordinary places—including motherhood—and makes Himself great through our weakness.

That is what we're celebrating in another as mothers, friends, aunts, mentors, and mother-figures.

So, if you're looking for a gift to help you honor a woman in your life, here are a few of my favorites... obviously I'm a little biased toward this year's GraceLaced Mother's Day Collection, but I have a few suggestions for some of my other favorite places to shop for Mother's Day this year, too.

We don’t have to have the same circumstances to recognize how the grace of God is laced and woven in and through each page of your story and mine. Regardless of the season of life your mom, friend, sister, aunt, mentor, or mother-figure is in, my prayer is that these gifts will help them see God’s faithfulness right where they are.

Because of grace,
