Sometimes after the boys go to bed, I reflect on the day and think of the many conversations I would've loved to have had with each of them throughout the day. So often, those conversations never happen as a result of being rushed, feeling frustrated as a mom, or as a result of spending so much energy simply managing behavior that there is no time left for heart considerations.
