When Real Food Relieves Chronic Health Issues and the GraceLaced Link Up

Welcome to GraceLaced Mondays! Grace is found in the everyday when you are intentional about taking note of it.

It is found in the sink full of dishes awaiting you after a family meal, it shines in the faces of your imperfect children, it soothes from the pages of God's Word, and it is tucked into the enjoyment of a fresh batch of cookies. Grace is in a beautiful moment and a heartbreaking one alike. Grace is blessing beyond what you and I deserve.

Today, I'm featuring two of my favorite real food blogging friends in one great post! If you've ever struggled with chronic pain, or wondered how to make real-food cooking work for you family for general health, last week's post by Michelle of Willing Cook, was both inspiring and informative. Michelle interviewed Kelly of Nourishing Home (one of my roommates at the upcoming Allume conference!), who has such a Christ-honoring attitude towards God's provision in food:

"So I remind myself constantly that God’s plans are so far above ours! And in the case of health issues, we want immediate relief and freedom from pain, whereas God can use that pain to grow our dependence and intimacy with Him. I know that eating the food He created (rather than processed foods) helps me feel better, but I also know that it is He who determines my every step and each pathway I walk in this life. This knowledge is a blessing that helps me to maintain the right focus and balance."
