The older I get, the more I think, that in fashion, less is more. I'm so much more interested now in investing in a few key pieces to my wardrobe rather than chasing new fads and having one of everything. A favorite pair of jeans, a classic pencil skirt in an unexpected fabric or pattern, a well-fitting chambray shirt, a crisp blazer...these are some of my favorite things. And every once in awhile, when the mood and occasion strikes, you throw in some animal print, because: For some of us, leopard print is a neutral. ;)
J.Crew Albuquerque asked me to host their first in-store blogger event. It was a blast to share my fashion tips, favorite pieces of the Fall line, and sign some GraceLaced books while I was there on a lovely Fall Saturday in September....
