Between living in the desert and raising six rough and tumble boys, I have my fair share of dry skin. Throw in there the constant dishes in the sink, the gardening in the potager, and the occasional art project, and it's no wonder I can't seem to keep my skin soft and smooth. :) You all may or may not know that I was born in the tropics (really wet), but have lived in the Southwest desert (really dry) for most of my life. Caring for my skin can be a bit of a full-time job...but when there are so many others to care for in this house, it's often the last thing on my mind. 
It's been a little easier lately: I've been trying out two new Suave® products to help with the skin softening cause. I'm grateful that the folks at Suave thought I'd be a good gal to spread the word. I purchased a bottle of Suave® Skin Solutions Smoothing Body Lotion with Cocoa Butter & Shea, and Suave® Naturals Rainforest Fresh Body Wash, and am really pleased with both! I love that you can find Suave at most stores, and that's it's sold at a price that is accessible to all! (Seriously a plus when you've been buying diapers for 11 years straight.)
Here are some of the things I noticed about the lotion:
-It's formula is rich -When absorbed into your skin, it feels like it seals and locks in moisture. -It smells fresh and lightly fragrant (not like chocolate, which is a pet peeve of mine when purchasing products with cocoa butter!) -It's not greasy.
What I noticed about the body wash: -Nice consistency. -Amply sudsing! -Fragrant but not syrupy sweet smell of some body washes. Suave® Naturals Body Wash comes in several wonderful fragrances-- I picked "Everlasting Sunshine." Switching up body products and trying out new fragrances is a fun way to be motivated to freshen up and to soften your skin. I found myself really looking forward to staying on top of caring for my skin, and unlocking my softer side. :)
