One of my sons makes me a cup of coffee every morning. I'm sure part of the dedication to doctoring the perfect cup of coffee for me each day has to do with the intrigue of grown-up activities like running the Keurig, and stirring in the creamer. I only drink one cup each morning, and he gets to make it. Sometimes kids just want to find their own special way to bless their mamas. In a family of 8, it may be difficult to find your own special niche; Some kids draw pictures, some write notes, and some faithfully bring a perfectly doctored cup of coffee to you each morning.

So, when Maxwell House International was interested in sending me their Hazelnut and Cinnamon Spice flavors for our family to try and share, I willingly obliged. And that son of mine? He was immediately on board, ready to try out a few spoonfuls of the Maxwell House International cafe-style beverage in my coffee in place of creamer. I was surprised! My plain cup of coffee suddenly tasted special. It was delicious, and more importantly, super simple and convenient for a special cup of coffee. My big boy felt proud that he had found a new way to serve up my coffee with flair, just with a few spoonfuls of Maxwell House International. I must say that using Maxwell House International as a creamer is a perfect solution to over-pouring flavored creamers, especially for little helpers.

Here are some other ideas I have for future uses of my Maxwell House International:

  • Mix a few spoonfuls into a cream cheese and whip cream mixture for an easy trifle or tiramisu.
  • Mix into hot chocolate for a quick mocha.
  • Beat into homemade icing for cappuccino cupcakes.
  • Add a few spoonfuls to ice cream, ice, and milk in a blender for a frozen, blended coffee treat.

Because it is in powder form, and does not need refrigeration, I'm also thinking that Maxwell House International would be a perfect part of any camping trip, vacation, and morning routine of a convenient cup of flavored coffee...especially with young men who want to bless their mamas.
