Katie and Addie with J.D. Love Washington, D.C. {Review and Giveaway}

*****This giveaway is now closed.*****

The older I get, the more I marvel at the significance of history. History was a subject to be memorized and studied in school, but I was hardly taught to understand it's true implications in the present day. How I want my kids to know the importance of history, the values of our founding fathers! You have to know where you've been, in order to know where you should be heading.

I was recently contacted by the publicist for author and speaker, Michele Wetteland, to review her new book, Katie and Addie with J.D. Love Washington, DC, due to release October 2012 Katie and Addie with J.D. Love Washington, DC is a charming children's book that takes readers on a journey through the significant places within our nation's capitol.

As a mom of five young boys, I'm always looking for age appropriate books and resources that draw my sons into a greater respect and love for our country, and what it is founded on. Michelle Wetteland's new book takes children on a tour of our nation's capitol, and inspires readers to want to visit and discover the significance of history for themselves. This book is a great way to introduce your children to many important events in our nation's history, and to pique their interest for further study.

Does this sound like something your family would enjoy? Well, you're in luck! :)

I have one signed copy of Katie and Addie with J.D. Love Washington, DC to give away!
