Trusting his sovereignty, his goodness, his plan, his provision, and his sanctification in our lives.
And...obeying him, not just with the BIG decisions, like which house to buy, who to forgive, and what direction to take with future plans...but with the everyday small ones that come up as you make your way to unveiling his purposes in the grande moments of your life.
Sometimes he speaks loud and clear, but sometimes we follow him one trusting footstep at a time.
That's where I'm at right now...with my children, with my shoppe, with finances, with relationships and responsibilities, and with the abrupt decision yesterday, to put our house on the market in hopes of securing one that has become available.
It is mercy that he allows us to only know one piece of the puzzle at a time...
“God will only give you what you would have asked for if you knew everything he knows” - Timothy Keller
And while I watch, work, and wait...I do what I know to do, follow where I know to follow, and do the most with all that he's ALREADY given.
Because what we do with the little he gives us determines what greater stewardship he gives us charge over...
‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. -Matthew 25:21
So, to all of us who are in eager expectation of how the Lord will provide, will heal, will secure, will protect, will deliver...will show himself faithful...
Remember that he has ALREADY done all of that, and more, through the blood Christ shed on the cross. Redemption is the ultimate answer; it's the ultimate provision.
Everything else is just more grace.
Be strong and courageous, friends.
