Caught, Not Just Taught

Caught, Not Just Taught

The thing I've learned over and over again as a mother...

...is that our children are impacted more by what is caught than was is taught.

We spend so much time worrying about what we DON'T want our kids to catch from us, that perhaps we forget to deliberately go about the business of doing what we DO want them to catch. The more we are genuinely in pursuit of those things, the more our kids will likely happen upon us unawares...being about the very things we desire to see produced in them.

I'm over at For The Family today, with the five things I want my kids to catch me doing. I'd love for you to join me there.
