We have a lovely botanical garden in our city. To take a stroll through its many habitat and cultural distinctions is to feel, for a little while, outside of suburbia, removed from traffic, and perhaps in another time altogether. Grandma and Grandpa joined us on Friday for just such a stroll. The weather, the company, and the many sights and smells of Fall made the morning unique and memorable. Here are some pics from our visit to the Heritage Farm within the Gardens. With four boys and a hard-working hubby, I could be a farm-girl, right? (I suppose if picking flowers was considered work!)
