I'm back. I guess I never announced that I would be gone. Our family went off-the-grid last week, and sought rest and renewal in the mountain ranges of the Western slope of Colorado. Rest, renewal, and time.
Sometimes perspective is all you really need. And at 13,000 ft elevation, all you can truly focus on is God's magnificent glory displayed in his beautiful creation above timberline. There, you will find mountains and valleys. There, the seasons serve their purpose. There, you will find wildflowers of decadent detail, birds of sweetest song, and the the clearest waters effortlessly gushing from mountain crevasses. Each performs its part beautifully because the Heavenly Father orchestrates the symphony. It was a symphony to be enjoyed, but also to serve as a reminder to us of his faithfulness and sovereignty in all creation...even in the life of our little family.
